Postgraduate researcher in Computer Science

🇬🇧 University of Bradford (England, UK)

Currently, I am in my final year (thesis write-up stage) as an international postgraduate researcher at the UoB. I joined the University in 2022 as a PhD researcher in Computer Science at the FoEDT (Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies), and, after restructuring, I am registered at IDSF (Institute of Digital and Sustainable Futures) and UoB Doctoral College. Before that, I visited the UoB for 3 months in 2020 as an Erasmus+ Research Trainee at the aiR-FORCE collaborative project between Jaguar Land Rover, the IDE (Institute of Digital Engineering) and the University of Bradford, which led to a year-long collaboration with the research supervisors. Alongside my PhD, I also worked in various roles at the SAFI (Statistical Analysis For Industry) consortium for Continuing Professional Development courses – they are now delivered by SAFI Verse Ltd, for which I am an Associate.

My research focuses on the NLP applications to real-world heterogeneous automotive data for knowledge extraction and early-stage reliability alerts. It is part of a larger industrial project with a major global automotive manufacturer under the France2030 programme called OT-PaaS and funded by BPIFrance.

While my colleagues are working on increasing the quality of the existing warranty data, my approach aims to enhance it with insights from the open-sourced recall and social network data to learn from competitor/community mistakes. In particular, I am interested in the automatic identification, classification and mapping of the failure modes, their causes and effects from technical documents and forum postings. The data-driven methodology on the intersection of Computer Science and Automotive Engineering was introduced at the CIRP Design Conference 2024. The journal paper draft with further details and example case studies is in production.

Collaboration with academics from the Advanced Automotive Analytics Research Laboratory and reliability experts from the research partner, including warranty engineers and management, leads to knowledge exchange and awareness of existing policies. It fosters the dissemination of research through the integration of the developed prototypes into the company's ecosystem and increases impact on the industry and society for smarter, safer, and more efficient vehicle systems.

Bachelor of Applied Informatics

🇷🇺 Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (Moscow, Russia)

Russian equivalent to UK Bachelor's First Class Honours.

The studies, projects, course works and thesis covered the topics of:

During my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Informatics and Information Systems at PRUE, I was actively involved in international collaboration with visiting professors, as well as exchange programmes such as a 5-month FIRST+ Exchange programme in Business and IT the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki, Finland) in 2019.

Erasmus+ Research Trainee
🇬🇧 University of Bradford (England, UK)

3 months of placement which led to almost a year of collaboration with the research team.

The aiR-FORCE collaborative project between Jaguar Land Rover, the Institute of Digital Engineering and the University of Bradford included:

FIRST+ Exchange Student
🇫🇮 Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki, Finland)

International exchange programme with a standard workload of 30 ECTS. The courses (in English) of my choice were in the field of business in IT: Business Process Management / Requirements Analysis / SAP ERP 1 / ERP and Project Management / Financial Accounting, Processes and Systems / International Economics.

The most exciting educational part was the BPM project to analyse the processes of a real company to apply the skills learnt during the course. We collaborated with the Finnish branch of "Beijing 8" (a Swedish chain of restaurants), and I was the team leader responsible for the negotiations with the company besides the process analysis and writing the documentation.

In my free time, I was travelling around Finland (Porvoo, Turku, Kilpisjärvi), Norway (Tromsø, Oslo), Denmark (København), Sweden (Stockholm), and Estonia (Tallinn).

FIRST+ was funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Finnish National Agency for Education.
